State Senate District 25: Gayle Harrell http://gayleharrell.com
Representative Harrell has a ten-year proven track record of supporting immigration enforcement. She has sponsored numerous immigration enforcement bills in the state legislature since 2008. Representative Harrell has sponsored bills which would have mandated E-Verify, denied public benefits to illegal immigrants, called for a memorandum of agreement with Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), and ending Sanctuary cities.
2008 HB 821 Illegal Immigration by Harrell Also, Co-Sponsored HB 73 and HB 159, (Omnibus bills for Public E-Verify, denying public benefits to illegal aliens, and required co-operation of public officials with Federal Immigration Enforcement. HB 107 (Human Smuggling) 2011 HB 691 Verification of Employment Eligibility by Harrell (Mandatory E-Verify) 2012 HB 1315 Verification of Employment Eligibility by Harrell (Mandatory E-Verify) 2014 HB 851 Harrell voted against In-State Tuition for Illegal Aliens 2018 HB 9 Harrell voted for bill that prohibits sanctuary city policies in Florida Her opponent, Belinda Kaiser was on the Constitutional Revision Commission (CRC) and voted twice to kill the proposed E-Verify Amendment; Vote 1, Vote 2. Keiser felt it was more important to place banning Vaping in Workplaces on the ballot than E-Verify. Keiser ignored expert testimony presented to the CRC on the enormous harm done to legal workers, legal businesses, taxpayers, and victims of illegal alien crime. Keiser's position on illegal immigration is very weak, "The first act of an immigrant seeking to enter our great country should not be an illegal one by entering without the status to do so. I will end sanctuary cities and believe we need to strengthen our border security to keep our citizens safe."
